1. Introduction & Our Commitment
At Ultimate Games PS ("we", "our", or "the app"), we are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how data is handled. This Privacy Policy describes how Ultimate Games PS collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our Android application and related services.
Ultimate Games PS is designed as a native offline-capable emulation platform. The vast majority of features—including catalog browsing, downloading games, playing PSX/PSP/PS2 titles via built-in emulators, managing save states, and configuring CRT shaders—can be enjoyed anonymously, without requiring any account or personal login.
2. Data Stored Strictly on Your Device
To provide a fast, responsive handheld experience, the following data is stored exclusively in your device's sandboxed local storage and is never transmitted to our servers:
- Downloaded Game ROMs: Downloaded game files are stored in the app's private sandbox and are accessible only to you.
- Save States & Virtual Memory Cards: Instant save states (.state) and memory card files (.mcr) remain on your local phone storage.
- Favorites & Bookmarks: Your marked favorite games are indexed locally in your device's Room database.
- Emulator Preferences: Your chosen CRT shaders, bilinear filtering settings, auto-frameskip preferences, and touch controller button opacity settings are saved locally in Android DataStore.
3. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the app with an active internet connection, certain technical information is collected by integrated third-party SDKs to ensure stability, deliver catalog updates, and display advertisements:
A. Device & Advertising Identifiers (Google AdMob)
To provide our free-to-play service, Ultimate Games PS uses the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK. AdMob may collect your device's Google Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, and interaction data for ad frequency capping and fraud prevention. You can opt out of personalized ad tracking directly in the app's Settings → Privacy → Personalized Ads or via your Android system settings (Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID).
B. Crash Diagnostics & Telemetry (Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application crashes and emulation core stability. When a crash occurs, anonymous stack traces, device model information, Android OS version, and engine state are sent to help our development team identify and patch bugs. No personally identifying files or game contents are included in crash reports.
4. Accounts & Cloud Sync — Not Currently Active
The app ships with scaffolding for optional Google sign-in, cloud save sync via Google Drive, and community/season rankings, but these are disabled by default and not currently available — the app works fully anonymously today, with no account of any kind. If we enable any of these in a future update, this policy will be revised first to describe exactly what is collected, shared, and how to opt out or delete it:
Google Drive Cloud Save Sync (planned, inactive)
If enabled in the future, syncing save states across devices would use Google Drive APIs with restricted, application-specific folder permissions only — never access to your other Drive files.
Google Sign-In & Community Rankings (planned, inactive)
If enabled in the future, signing in with Google would only be required to participate in optional community features — never to browse, download, or play games.
5. Google Play Data Safety Disclosure Matrix
The table below provides a complete summary aligning with the official Google Play Console Data Safety questionnaire:

6. Data Security & Encryption in Transit
We implement robust security measures to safeguard all data:
- 100% HTTPS / TLS 1.3: All communications between the app and servers (including game downloads, API queries, and ad/ analytics SDK traffic) are encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security.
- Certificate Pinning: Our networking module (
NetworkModule.kt) enforces SSL certificate pinning against the backend host to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. - Process Isolation: The emulation core operates within a separate Android process (
:game) to maintain security boundaries.
7. Your Rights & Account Deletion
In compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and Google Play developer policies, you retain full ownership and control over your data:
- Local Data Deletion: You can wipe all local games, saves, and preferences at any time by clearing the app data in Android Settings or simply uninstalling Ultimate Games PS.
- No Account to Delete: Since sign-in is not currently active, there is no cloud account or backend record tied to you. If we enable sign-in in the future, an in-app account-deletion option will be added here before that feature ships.
- Request Deletion via Email: You may also submit a formal data erasure request at any time by emailing us at muha.syaifudin@gmail.com. We will process your deletion request within 14 business days.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Ultimate Games PS is rated for Everyone through the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC). We do not knowingly collect, request, or solicit personal information from children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union). If we learn that personal information from a minor has been collected without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete that information from our records.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in app capabilities, SDK upgrades, or legal requirements. When updates occur, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
